Sylvando’s dream is to make people all around the world smile. He is
described as the mood maker of the party and refers to the hero as “darling”.

* Sylvando’s battle abilities can be seen as a male counterpart to Jessica
Albert’s, being capable of using whips and some swords, as well as techniques
similar in appearance to her Sex Appeal skills, such as Sexy Beam and Pink Typhoon.
* In the Japanese version of the game, Sylvando refers to himself using the pronoun
“atashi” (???), which is typically only used by women but it can be used by feminine
men. This trait is shared by feminine male characters in various pieces of Japanese
media, including various anime, manga, and video games.


Hero:

The hero of the game is a young man who resides within the peaceful village of
Ishi. He was raised by the kind people of his village. His adventure begins on
the day he turns 16 years old.

A young man from the sleepy village of Cobblestone. After participating in a coming-
of-age ceremony, he finds out he is the reincarnation of an ancient hero who once
saved the world. On his 16th birthday, he sets out on his journey in order to fulfill
his destiny.

* The hero has some similarities with some of the heroes from previous games:
* He comes from a lineage of previous heroes, much like the original Hero and
the Prince of Midenhall.
* He sets out on his journey on his 16th birthday, similar to Erdrick. He is
also seen wielding Erdrick’s sword in the opening video.
* He was born with a mysterious mark on his left hand, much like the Hero of
Dragon Quest VII. It is said to bestow him with mysterious powers and glows in
times of danger.
